Transclautana
The "Transclautana" race is held every year in the natural and unspoilt paradise of the northern slope of the Ressetum mountain range, near the Park of the Friulian Dolomites. The event is an individual ski mountaineering competition that is valid as a leg in the International World Cup for the Senior category open to all FISI members as well as for the Junior-Cadet categories.
About 250 participants, representing ten European countries, will be taking part to create a competition at the World Cup level. In fact, the race has technical features to make it exciting and challenging, with many changes and technical descents.
Every year during the event, a big screen is mounted in the main square of Claut to allow a better vision while RAI takes care of deferred coverage on the satellite channel Raisportpiù.
